The Department of Biology and Biochemistry is accepting applications for a part time lecturer for the Spring semester. The successful applicant will teach General Biochemistry 2 (BCHS 3305), an upper-division course required for Biochemistry majors. This course addresses the pathways underlying intermediary metabolism, and the synthesis and breakdown of lipids, carbohydrates, amino acids, and nucleotides. The course also examines the biochemical mechanisms underlying oxidative phosphorylation, the electron transport chain, and photosynthesis.
