Job Summary

The Director of Community College Partnerships will provide stewardship for the University’s partnerships with community colleges. The director will act as relationship manager for all CC’s; promote and establishing agreements for the guaranteed admission of community college students to the University; encourage the active promotion of the University by community college transfer centers; interface with admission and financial aid leadership to assure the smooth and efficient management of students’ applications; and advise the Associate Provost of Student Affairs on all issues related to the University’s relationship with community colleges.

 

Essential Duties

  • Develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives aimed at supporting the student transfer process from community colleges to CDU undergraduate programs
  • Represent CDU in establishing new and strengthening existing partnerships with community colleges
  • Develop new articulation agreements, transfer pathways, and related services for community college transfer students.
  • Collaborate with CDU academic programs and community college liaisons to develop programs designed to provide pathways towards the completion of health professional undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • In partnership with Student Affairs team, lead programs designed to foster entrance into various health professional programs offered at CDU to include pre-health advising, professional development, financial support, and mentorship

 

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outreach and recruitment efforts with community colleges in partnership with CDU Admissions
  • Provide training and development to ensure stakeholder departments, such as Admissions and Financial Aid, Office of Registration and Records, and Academic Advisement are aware of and understand current transfer pathway agreements and programs.
  • Host transfer student information sessions, virtually and in-person, in partnership with Admissions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-10 years management experience in a community college environment or in the recruitment and admission of community college students to 4-year institutions.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree preferred
