Job Description: 

POSITIONSUMMARY 
The Outreach Project Coordinator, Earn and Learn programs in the Partnerships& Programs Department provides proactive support and direct engagement withprospective students and applicants of earn and learn program models. This roleis responsible for coordinating and staffing targeted recruitment and outreachinitiatives through various modalities. The incumbent must exhibit strongorganizational skills, a comfort level with being a self-starter, an outcomesorientation, and the ability to multitask across program areas and audiences.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

EventCoordination and Staffing

Identifies,plans, schedules, and implements outreach activities appropriate to studentneeds. Events will be conducted across various modalities, including virtualand in-person information sessions, classroom presentations, job fairs,employer site visits, summer enrichment programs, and large-scale program andcollege events. This role will be a point of contact for the office's Marketing& Communications, Event Planning, and Admissions.

OutreachCoordination
Coordinates outreach to target populations, including high school students, currentColumbus State students, adult learners, incumbent workers, communityorganizations, and K-12 administrators and faculty. Provides information onprograms of study and next steps for enrollment, including admission criteria,documents needed, financial aid, new student orientation, placement testing,advising, and registration.

Develops andclarifies educational goals by conducting interviews and analyzing studentneeds. Explains educational program options and assists students withdeveloping a plan for degree and goal completion. Coordinates multi-scaleevents in collaboration with partners and stakeholders, both internal andexternal.

PerspectiveStudent Case Management
Providestimely, high-quality, and proactive outreach to educate students, inquiries,and applicants. Utilizes comprehensive case management and communicationstrategy leveraging email, text, phone, and in-person meetings to promoteconversion and enrollment of student leads. Maintains appropriate files and documentsand tracks data regarding prospective students throughout the enrollmentprocess.

Activelymanages the enrollment progress of interested students and keeps accuraterecords of all inbound and outbound communications using customer-relationshipmanagement (CRM) tools. Proactively responds to enrollment trends to ensurethat enrollment goals are met.  Monitorapplicant progression via the College’s admissions management platform.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS

The employee frequently sits, stands, and walks for periods oftime. Ability to transport, drive or navigate toemployer locations, partner organizations, or school locations for meetings orevents.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS 
An Associate degree is required. Must have one (1) year of experience in marketing programs oractivities and experience working collaboratively with diverse audiences or organizations.. 

State MotorVehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to the worksite.

*An appropriatecombination of education, training, coursework, and experience may qualify acandidate.
