As the Assistant Director of Development, Alumni Affairs within our Office of Scholarships and Student Support Initiatives (SSI), you will be integral raising funds that make student scholarships possible. Under the guidance of the Director of Development for SSI, with an indirect reporting line to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs, you will serve as a vital link between Development and Alumni Affairs, establishing long-range goals and objectives for development programs and activities that reflect the priorities of the Alumni Affairs scholarships, networks, and volunteers. As the Assistant Director, you will increase and expand donor acquisition, upgrade and renewal through a variety of programmatic management, planning and fundraising activities; build diversity within the Alumni Affairs donor portfolio; assist with unit operating plans as well as work with Development and Alumni Affairs staff to create compelling outreach and engagement materials. As a member of our fundraising team, you will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward annual scholarship gifts from Alumni Networks with high capacity, propensity and engagement; work to increase the diversity and number of donors as well as facilitate their movement from annual giving to major and planned giving. Your role will focus on increasing alumni giving and aligning Student Support Initiatives fundraising with alumni engagement efforts. In addition, you will serve as a resource across campus for Alumni Affairs scholarships, as well as other development staff to build and enhance the pipeline of annual gifts and pool of major gift prospects.

**Please note, this is a hybrid position.**


Special Instructions:
The target salary range for this position is between the posted minimum and $6,666.67 monthly.
