Art Instructor - Full-time
Position Type:Faculty

Duties:Teach Art Appreciation and Art History courses. Participate as an active member of the Fine Arts and Humanities Department and the college community in regard to departmental planning, meetings and service on college-wide committees.
Education/Experience:- Master’s degree in Art History or related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Art History or Master’s degree in related studio art required. Minimum five years of teaching experience traditional and non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds at high school/college/university level required.
- Demonstrate evidence of commitment to student success through teaching and learning
- Experience developing and teaching face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.
- Experience in academic program development and division participation.
- Background in high school/college/university service and strong willingness to participate in departmental activities and projects such as serving on committees, taskforces, mentoring, etc.
- Use of various teaching methods (i.e. PowerPoint, Canvas, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Presented on art history and/or art appreciation topics at seminars, workshops, etc. and/or published work related to topics.
