Duties:

This position requires a strong commitment to student mentoring and support, while incorporating technology and innovation in the reinforcing of concepts, clinical judgement, and validation of skills. Candidates must be able to work actively and collegially with lab staff and department faculty. Other related lab support responsibilities may be performed as required.

Candidate must be willing to work at our Blue Island campus including the Palos Hills campus, work at least 15-20 hours per week, work 1 Saturday 8am-1pm a month as needed, and be available to work Tuesday through Friday.

Education/Experience:

Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing; a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the past 5 years and a current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in IL.

Recent clinical experience and/or teaching experience in a community college nursing program preferred. A willingness to learn and expand to new content areas is a plus.

Hours do vary and schedules are made at least 8 weeks in advance of the semester.
