Position Summary

By directing and overseeing operational activities, initiatives and projects, the Chief of Staff will lead the administrative division to ensure optimal service and support are provided to the Organizational Units which comprise the University Health and Wellbeing MAU including but not limited to Employee Assistance Program, Health4U, Occupational Health/Travel Clinic, Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities, WorkLife Office, Counseling and Psychiatric Services, Center for Survivors, Student Health Services, Health Promotion and Safe Place.

The position will be responsible for but not limited to the functional areas of budget and finance, communications, human resources and building operations regarding initiatives, projects and strategic planning. Will function as a thought leader, advisor and integrator in support of the units mission, vision and values in the development of administrative goals, strategic initiatives, objectives, policies and procedures. Assists with resolution of fiscal activities, administrative matters, objectives, policies, and procedures for University Health and Wellbeing. Primary responsibility for budget planning/forecasting while also leading the work of others. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or related field; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in financial management and analysis, personnel management, and computer systems use and development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Master's degree in business related field

10+ years of experience
