Position Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities


Adheres to learning objectives as stated in course syllabi
Collaborate and consistently communicate with the course coordinator for implementation of weekly objectives
Effectively uses technology tools such as Docucare, ATI, Canvas
Evaluate performance of learning outcomes
Enforces appropriate rules and expectations of students in clinical, lab, or simulation that comply with AACC Nursing department’s policies and procedures
Provide timely feedback to students of their clinical performance
Complete the formative and summative assessment accurately
Submits all the required clinical forms to the course coordinators including the Formative & Summative Directed Lab Evaluation forms
Responds in a timely manner to emails, information requests, and required reports from college (e.g. attendance reports and clinical evaluation tools)
Comply with the current clinical partner’s onboarding requirements and AACC’s employment requirement
Maintain confidentiality of student information
Attends and participates in nursing faculty meetings, staff meetings, and college activities as required by college administration

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors of Nursing Degree
18 months of active nursing experience
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written skills
Active RN license
Current CPR

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching or clinical instruction experience at the undergraduate level
MSN Degree
