Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Senior Executive Assistant - Classical Museum within School of Classics.

The Classical Museum is one of the main cultural heritage collections of UCD, and is the only museum in Ireland dedicated entirely to material from the ancient Mediterranean. This unique collection includes ceramics, coins, inscriptions, and glass from Greece, Italy, Egypt and Cyprus, ranging from Neolithic through to Late Antiquity in date. The Museum is at the heart of teaching and research in the School of Classics and is utilised by the university and the wider community. The Museum has an active outreach programme, is open to the public, and is committed to promoting research into its collections. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, and assist with outreach, communications, documentation and research, under the direction of the Curator and the Head of School.

95 Senior Executive Assistant\2010 (0123\X) Salary Scale: 41,591 - 51,084 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
