The University of Tennessee’s Career Gateway is looking to fill the temporary assignment of Administrative Specialist with Family & Consumer Sciences. Through temporary assignment placements, Career Gateway allows the opportunity to work with various departments while gaining valuable work experience. Qualifications
Length of assignment is up to one year, the work schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, and the pay rate is $20/hour. 

Minimum education requirements is high school diploma.

Special skills include understanding of basic accounting math, ability to work in a deadline oriented environment, ability to utilize general administrative skills, knowledge of MS Office products. Preferred skills include knowledge of IRIS, Concur, and PaymentWorks.

This position will work with the Southern Ag Exchange Network to complete general accounting and other administrative tasks. This position will assist with invoicing, contract maintenance, travel, event planning, and other tasks to support the daily operations of the team.

Specific job duties include: * Processing invoices * Organizing and coordinating large meetings and events * Organizing travel including booking lodging and transportation * Submitting travel expense reports * Posting to and printing grant ledgers * Processing contracts and non- competitive justification forms * Processing purchase orders and miscellaneous reimbursements * Other tasks as assigned
