The Post-Doctoral Researcher will work in the Sheehan Geophysics Research Group, and will conduct research in seismology with particular focus on analysis of ocean bottom seismic data from offshore Alaska. The research will include combination of surface wave dispersion and seafloor compliance measurements to determine shallow oceanic and subduction zone crustal structure. The successful applicant will also be encouraged to take advantage of opportunities in mentoring and research that CIRES and the research group can offer. We are seeking candidates with excellent technical and communication skills who thrive in a diverse team environment. This is a one-year position.
