Description:

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Tulane Medical Center/ Tulane Cancer Center is searching for a faculty nurse practitioner to join our team. We envision the right applicant will help to design and launch an oral chemotherapeutics follow-up program partnered with Tulane medical oncologists, take the lead with chemotherapy teaching (both IV and oral) and develop a cancer center-wide survivorship program.  This faculty position provides the opportunity to teach and to benefit from excellent faculty benefits.  The Radiation Oncology Department is accredited with the American College of Radiology and boasts outstanding physician leadership.  We envision this Nurse Practitioner will be an integrated part of a multidisciplinary team alongside the primary medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, social workers, and cancer dieticians who together work to elevate patient care and provide holistic care to our cancer patients.

 


Qualifications:

This opportunity requires an advanced practice provider with a preference for prior clinical experience, with preference given to prior experience in clinical oncology. This position will report directly to the Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology and will involve a clinical faculty position at Tulane University School of Medicine, commensurate with experience.
