Job OverviewAs one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients. The UC Department of Family and Community Medicine has played a leading role in fellow, resident, and medical student education since 1974. Today, the department comprises of 57 core faculty physicians and 28 residents who work around the clock to provide clinical primary care to roughly 100,000 patients each year while at the same time conduct important research with goals set that it will translate into the cures for tomorrow. The Department of Family and Community Medicine is accepting applications for a term adjunct (part-time) faculty.Essential Functions
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
- Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
- Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
- Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by peer reviews and publications.
