Assistant Professor: Public Relations and Communication

The Department of Communication, University of Arizona, invites applications for a tenure-eligible assistant professor position starting in Fall 2023. We seek candidates who will contribute to the department’s teaching mission in both the Communication Major and the PR Minor. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Communication or related discipline, evidence of a strong research program and teaching excellence, especially in the field of public relations or related areas. Preferred qualifications of the candidates include conducting research and/or teaching classes in organizational communication as well as a record or potential for obtaining external research funding.
