Maintenance Technician Intern

Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following part time, temporary (intern) positions in the department of Transportation Services: Maintenance Technician Intern. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Assists in the performance of inspecting, trouble shooting, servicing, and repairing of diesel-powered equipment. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A successful candidate must be a current student in and have a recommendation from the HGTC Diesel Mechanic Technology program. This position requires technical proficiencies learned while a student at Horry Georgetown Technical College. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and various shop equipment.
