Key Responsibilities :Under general supervision, performs necessary duties to keep assigned buildings and/or areas in clean, neat and orderly condition. Performs various other activities as assigned including, but not limited to, setups, take-downs and moves. Clears snow and ice from, but not limited to, stairs, walks, driveways and College roads either manually or using motorized equipment. Performs necessary repairs and routine and planned maintenance on custodial equipment.

-Experience in custodial or related field
-High school graduate or GED, as well as the ability to read, write and perform basic math
-Ability to operate all College owned vehicles and custodial equipment
-Valid PA driver’s license.
It is the policy of Juniata College to conduct background checks.
Oral and/or written instructions received from designated supervisor.
Employees in this classification have no supervisory duties.

Founded in 1876, Juniata is a national liberal arts college located in the scenic Allegheny Mountain region of central Pennsylvania and is the intellectual home for 1,600 students and nearly 14,000 alumni. Juniata is a very strong community where student involvement is paramount. There are no fraternities or sororities. The student clubs and organizations (over 90 currently) have a positive impact on the Juniata community and on the larger community of Huntingdon and the surrounding area.
