Job Description:

ECU Department of Center for STEM ED is currently seeking several Office/Program Assistants.

Duties include:
-Assist in providing excellent customer service for daily operational procedures such as client correspondence and event logistics/support
-Identify needs for various projects
-Provide front desk/reception coverage
-Provide STEM library inventory/check-out services
-Answer multi-line phone system
-Maintain records
-Perform light clerical work
-Run errands
-Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.):

The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and some statistical software. They must also be in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA) per the Student Employment guidelines found at http://www.ecu.edu/cs-admin/HumanResources/Student-Employment-Office.cfm. Students must be available to work and accommodate Center for STEM Ed hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
