Duties and Responsibilities :

Monitors the activity coordinator’s efforts to carry out the objectives and goals of the project; reviews all documents for the University and Title III compliance prior to submission; collects, compiles, and organizes the data pertinent to the required Title III quarterly and annual reports and various ongoing studies; prepares intra-office reports; assists in the preparation of final reports and makes recommendations regarding the collection of data for Title III; assists in planning and coordinating the publication of the Title III Newsletter; monitors U.S. Department of Education policy and procedure changes for Title III and prepares notices for the office; conducts surveys of the coordinators to gain qualitative information about the Title III program and how it can be improved; establishes effective communication channels and acts as liaison between the program, activity coordinators and various officials within and outside the institution; coordinates with clerical personnel; assists the coordinators with the maintenance of the activity budget via the “Check Book” program used by the office.

Education:

A Bachelors degree required.

Note: Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work may be substituted for the education or experience requirement.

Experience:

A minimum two (2) years of experience managing programmatic activities and administrative work required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

Strong communication and organizational skills; knowledge of reference and research methods and techniques used in collecting, compiling, and organizing data and information.
