Location: 600 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Weekend work required

Non-Exempt; MJ

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Manager or Operations Administrator responsible for organizing, managing and directing all technical and staff activities of Pediatric Radiology division. Assists in planning and managing divisional operations, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures. Prioritizes services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available.

Education:

Graduate of an approved AMA diagnostic Imaging program; BA or BS degree preferred.

Work Experience:

Minimum of two to three years' experience in healthcare.

License/Certification:

Valid CPR Certification required. Must be licensed or certified according to modalities requirements and standards. Diagnostic, CT, Interventional requires State of Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Medical Radiation Technologist and ARRT certification

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding of radiology procedures and equipment.
  • Analytical ability is required in prioritizing and evaluating work conducted by area personnel and maintaining quality assurance standards.
  • Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
