MVCC's School of Public and Human Services invitesapplications for part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach courses in our Psychology, HumanServices and Chemical Dependency programs. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Adjunct faculty members teach contracted classesin accordance with established policies and guidelines. Courses may be taughtin traditional classroom settings, virtually, or a combination. This positionmay include both daytime and evening class assignments. Specific assignmentswill be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of the individualand the School needs.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work (MSW), School Counseling (CAS), School Psychology required.

Mohawk Valley Community College has more than 800 full-time and part-time employees at our campuses in Utica and Rome, NY. We are located in the Central New York region at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains between Syracuse and Albany, NY in Oneida County.

Founded in 1946 as one of the first community colleges in New York State, MVCC is one of 64 campuses that are part of the State University of New York.
