The Warrior Community seeks a full-time faculty member for the College of Business. This tenure-track faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses with an emphasis in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Management, and other related subjects assigned by the Dean. The position includes teaching four courses per semester and holding eight office hours per week through a combination of undergraduate traditional and graduate (evening) courses. Preferred qualifications include experience and/or teaching Business Analytics or Supply Chain Management. This faculty member will also be responsible for curriculum development and supporting the dean on the development of new programs.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, fulfilling service and professional development as outlined in the tenure process, student development by advising and fostering relationships with students both in and out of the classroom and participating in student recruiting and retention initiatives. Other principal duties include leading in the development of new programs and the improvement of existing programs and curricula, supporting efforts to increase access and success in higher education for underrepresented students, as well as supporting the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Institute of Technology.

This is a tenure-track, 9-month teaching position in face-to-face and online course delivery. Service to Warriors and toward recruiting efforts is expected throughout the year. The successful candidate will work closely with other programs in the College of Business. This faculty position reports to the Dean of the College of Business.

The faculty member will hold a terminal degree in an area of Business, preferred in Business analytics, management, supply chain, or a closely related field. Teaching experience is required; college-level teaching experience is preferred. Faculty rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. Professional and leadership experience are desired.

Demonstration of the ability to work with a diverse student population, and demonstration of developing effective relationships with students that prepare students for academic and career success are necessary. Applicants should be able to use technology effectively in all aspects of their work, including teaching.
