Job Details
The School of Allied Health is seeking an Assistant Professor - Physical Therapist Assistant to begin fall 2023.
The Assistant Professor has the primary responsibility of instruction in the classroom for students enrolled in Physical Therapist Assistant courses, as well as ensuring the success and retention of students while maintaining high academic standards.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020). Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher required.
Active, unrestricted PT or PTA license in Oklahoma.
Minimum of three years of full-time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy practice as a PT or PTA.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree or higher.
Teaching experience in clinical, didactic, and/or laboratory settings.
