Job Summary Reports to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, the primary function is to provide support in the maintenance and daily operation of software applications in the Office of Student Engagement and Success. In addition, they will collaborate with various Student Engagement and Success user groups to aid in maximizing usage of departmental software solutions.

    Responsibilities Examples of duties include, but are not limited to:

      Work with departmental staff to support the successful operation of departmental software, including:Fusion Recreation Management SystemPathify Student Portal, Maxient Student Conduct Software, Qless Queue Management SystemStarRez Housing Platform, TargetX Customer Relationship ManagementAxiom SupportOther related software solutions
    Work to ensure connectivity between departmental software and the Ellucian Banner Student Information SystemCommunicating with departmental clients to clarify software system requirements and ensure satisfaction with resultsCoordinating with IT support staff to troubleshoot technical issues with existing applicationsMaintaining departmental business process and technical documentationUse the help desk ticketing system to effectively track, resolve client issuesRecommending improvements to existing applications or recommending new applications to improve the student experience and meet specific business needsAssist with software solution annual contract renewalsLead software training and upgradesManage the campus student engagement portal and work with campus departments to ensure successful portal operationOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
      Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows and the ability to efficiently navigate the operating systemAbility to configure, operate, and manage enterprise software applications running in a windows environmentAbility to work independently, prioritize a high volume of work under tight deadlinesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines without direct supervisionStrong ability to multi-task and continually prioritize changing tasks and deliverablesStrong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle sensitive/confidential informationAbility to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse communityAbility to develop and maintain cross functional, collaborative working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, and other functional units
    Preferred Qualifications
      Strong communication and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving skillsComputer programming knowledge/experienceFundamental understanding of Ellucian Banner Student Information SystemDemonstrated ability to work with off-the-shelf software applications, working with campus vendor technical Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of experience Minimum 2-3 years of progressive responsibility and professional experienceExperience or expertise in using enterprise software applicationsExperience maintaining business process and technical documentation
