Job Details
Required Qualifications: An earned doctorate in the field of education from a nationally or regionally accredited institution or university is preferred. A background in literacy, and at least three years of experience working in K-12 public school classrooms with diverse populations.
Desired Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience working with teacher preparation programs. Experience supervising students in elementary education field experiences and student teaching placements. Experience with national program reviews or national accreditation agencies such as the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Experience with program assessment. Expertise in literacy, multicultural education, and culturally relevant pedagogy.
