Job Responsibilities

A teaching position in which the faculty member functions under the direction and supervision of the Dean of Allied Health. Responsibilities relate to class instruction or the direct supervision of Medical Assisting students in a clinical setting and associated tasks necessary to meet the learning outcomes of the course/program. Develops/directs high quality instructional plans and evaluates student progress in achieving course competency.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Knowledgeable in course content, educational theory and techniques. Must have current licensure/certification in the area of teaching responsibility. Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in the area of teaching.
