Associate Vice President for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging

The University of Wisconsin System announces a national search for the position of Associate Vice President for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging and invites expressions of interest, nominations, and applications.

The University of Wisconsin System is one of the largest systems of public higher education in the country, educating approximately 165,000 students each year and employing 40,000 faculty and staff statewide. With 13 universities across 26 campuses and a statewide extension network with offices in every county, the UW System is a tremendous academic, cultural, and economic resource for Wisconsin, the nation, and the world.

The Associate Vice President for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) will report directly to the President of the UW System, be a member of the President’s Cabinet, and will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging across the UW System. The Associate Vice President will champion the importance of EDIB and provide vision, leadership, coordination, and strategic planning to ensure systemwide support for EDIB initiatives that honor the unique character and communities of each UW System university.
