Applications are invited for the temporary post of Operations and Finance Coordinator at BiOrbic, Bioeconomy SFI Research Centre.

The Operations and Finance Coordinator will be a key member of the BiOrbic Operations team and will provide administrative, finance, reporting and other supports to Centre. The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, very organised and capable of managing a heavy and diverse workload. She/He will be able to work under pressure and be able to effectively manage many competing demands at the same time.

BiOrbic is Ireland's National Bioeconomy Research Centre. It is a Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre performing both blue skies and industry-focused research to build and support the development of Ireland's bioeconomy. It brings together Ireland's leading researchers from across a range of disciplines including biotechnology, systems and synthetic biology, chemistry, chemical and bioprocess engineering, agri-food, agriculture, animal and human nutrition, marine and social sciences.

The centre is founded by University College Dublin (UCD), Trinity College Dublin, Teagasc, National University of Ireland, Galway and University of Limerick, Munster Technological University and a variety of domestic and international industry partners, with Centre Operations located at UCD.

Salary range: 39,500 to 51,100 per annum

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
