Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (FULL-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College of Royal Oak.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Technical Support Specialist 1 is an entry-level position in the TSS department and provides technical support for IT resources. This person is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, demonstrates excellent communication skills, works well in a team environment or alone, and has a high level of customer service skills. The Technical Support Specialist 1 will assist the Manager, TSS and Team Leads with the daily operations, tasks, and projects of the campus’ Information Technology (IT) department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leverages the College’s ITSM solution to meet its SLAs when providing faculty, staff, and students with IT support.Provides first-tier customer support and triage function to resolve IT-related issues.Assists in deploying, updating, and maintaining software images and applications.Supports and troubleshoots premise wiring, multimedia equipment, wireless access points, digital signage, workstations, mobile devices, printers, MFPs, cameras, and other endpoint devices.Completes assigned tasks in a timely and acceptable manner.Other duties as assigned.
