Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary position.


To provide safe and responsive customer service when assisting and operating vehicles and equipment to collect and deliver refuse and recyclable materials to appropriate destinations.

Unit Position Summary

Driver needed for Wastewater Sampling project route. Driver will run three to four 3-hour routes per week. Route operates Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Desired Qualifications

Must have valid drivers license and an excellent driving record.

Previous experience utilizing a van to drive a regular route is preferred.

Su, Mo, Tu, We, route start times vary between the hours of 11:00AM - 4:00PM.

Summary of Health Risks

While the wastewater sampling containers are stored in the rear of the van, in the event of a spill, there is potential to exposure to wastewater.

Summary of Physical Demands

Ability to drive a van and remain in a seated position for approximately 3 hours per shift.
