Advanced degree options are available for the Bachelor's and Master's prepared nurse with our Doctor of Nursing Practice programs, PhD in Nursing, and Post Master's Certificates. CON graduates leave our programs ready to lead and serve our nation's patients.

Job Summary
This position incorporates dual responsibilities for managing the Operational and Promotional aspects of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Second Degree Program (BSN-SDP).

Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develops new ideas and procedures for BSN-SDP process improvement. Maintains knowledge of all aspects of both programs and communicates effectively with the public. Provides and ensures resource support. Manages information related to the BSN-SDP including databases (DegreeWorks, QuickBase, Excel), student/applicant information software (Banner, Crystal Reports, and WebXtender) as well as maintaining filing systems for programmatic documents. Develops systems for real-time data retrieval. Provides administrative support for the BSN-SDP Committees. Attends meetings, creates agendas, prepares handouts, transcribes minutes and distributes to committee members. Maintains committee files. Collaborates with the Committee Chairs to plan and execute meetings. Creates BSN-SDP related materials and participates as the recruitment representative as required. Works with Communication Strategist to ensure that program-related web content and recruitment materials are up to date. Collaborates with College of Nursing Student Affairs for student orientation. Provides managerial support for BSN-SDP Admission Committees. Attends meetings, creates agendas, prepares handouts, and distributes to committee members. Maintains committee files. Provides oversight of BSN admission process including running crystal reports, distributing assignments to committees, and receiving and organizing admission recommendations. Tracks prospective student inquiries and assists with their application process. Serves as liaison to AU Office of Academic Admissions. Support and enter student data into clinical agency systems such as ACEMapp and student and faculty credentialing. Monitors and tracks BSN-SDP outcomes and NCLEX-RN results. Works collaboratively with Office of Academic Affairs and Office of Student Affairs. Attends meetings and events as needed (Convocation, CON Information Sessions, Family Day, etc.). Provides and participates in cross-training with other Program Managers. Maintains an accurate and up to date desk reference for all job duties and responsibilities. Provides administrative support for BSN-SDP grant related activities. Other duties/CON events as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with three years of related experience in an academic program or related setting.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Higher Education, Academic, or Health Sciences setting.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases. Self-directed, demonstrated proactive initiative, critical thinking, adaptability to change, and ability to exercise independent judgment and action. Skilled in project management methodology and appropriate software packages.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days Mon-Fri
Pay Grade: 14
Salary Minimum: $17.40- $23.49 hourly.
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
Recruitment Period: Until Filled.

Conditions of Employment
