Starting salary: $66,717
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary:

Coordinate the district’s Integrated Education and Training programs.
The IET (Integrated Education Training) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the management and effectiveness of the Adult Education IET as well as the strengthening of career linkages throughout the Adult Education and Literacy Department. The IET Coordinator will be responsible for working directly with DMACC, partners and stakeholders to provide logical and attainable educational and career pathways that include adult education and literacy, workforce training, and workforce preparation.
This position will also be responsible for recruiting students, collaborating with area businesses and partners, developing curriculum, monitoring students’ progress and results, and collecting data needed for state and federal reporting entities.

Essential Functions:

Develop, implement, and supervise all activities of the IET Program, supporting collaborations between vocational, secondary, and post-secondary programs and offerings. Develop curriculum, program guidelines and management of enrollment and application processes. Monitor student progress and outcomes after program completion. Collect data about program enrollment and success in accordance with grant guidelines.
Direct the development of IET curriculum consistent with Department of Education guidance for adult education and literacy contextualized with vocational education and training. Ensure coordination across the DMACC district of the curriculum. Engage local businesses and organizations to examine workforce needs and develop education and training to support needs.
Establish and maintain relationships businesses and community organizations to develop programming to support secondary, vocational and postsecondary populations. Connect with public schools to meet program goals, objectives and requirements. Travel around the metro area meeting and working with area partners.
Supervise the collection of data for reports required by the College. Collect, interpret and maintain data to ensure ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of the program; report out on the data as needed; assure compliance with the specifications of pertinent grant and federal regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services or related field to the position.
Three years of program management experience including planning, budgeting, organizing, monitoring, observing, evaluating and reporting of program or business functions.
Strong presentation, facilitation, written, verbal, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in training and curriculum development.
Ability to learn and develop competency in student data management administrative software and other reporting software.
Ability to read, comprehend and abide by regulations and complete required reports related to grant activities.
Understanding assessments, data collection and their use in developing plans, goals and vision.
Ability to maintain professional working relationships with the networks of community, business, and education partners.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive matters and materials discreetly and tactfully.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equal opportunity, and the academic, intellectual, and social development of all students.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current software applications.

Master’s degree in Education, Social Services or related field.
Experience identifying, recruiting and collaborating with area businesses and partners.
Experience with grant writing, management and reporting requirements.
Experience with the budget process and successfully managing budgets.
Experience with adult education reporting requirements, including WIOA and workforce training initiatives.
