The Department of Pediatrics at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC is seeking an academic general pediatrician to serve as a newborn hospitalist. The academic general pediatrician would primarily be responsible for providing medical services to infants on the mother/baby unit and attending high risk deliveries that are not expected to result in a NICU admission at East Carolina Health Medical Center. Opportunities will also be available to provide care on the inpatient general pediatric ward. The academic general pediatrician will provide excellent medical education for residents, medical students, nursing students, and other learners.Minimum Education/Experience :

MD or DO degree, unrestricted North Carolina Medical License, Board Certified or Board eligible to sit for the ABP general pediatrics examination, NRP/PALS certification and recent delivery experience.
