Job Responsibilities
These positions will serve as Instructors within the Information Systems Technology department, primarily teaching courses in the programs of their discipline, and in related certificate programs. This position may be eligible for appointment to leadership and/or administrative roles within the IST Department.

This position is located on the Beltline Campus in the School of STEM--Information Systems Technology Department.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree in a computing related discipline; or a master's degree in a related discipline with a concentration in computing and a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Web & Applications Development: A teaching knowledge of Java, Python, Visual Basic, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, UNIX, and networking is required as well as the ability to keep abreast of new computing technologies, the ability to teach these skills, to manage classroom environment, and to participate productively in college committees.
Network Systems Management: Knowledge of computing concepts, networking applications, operating systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, ethernet, VoIP), and networking hardware is required as well as the ability to keep abreast of networking technologies, the demonstrated ability to teach these skills, to manage a classroom environment, and to participate productively in college committees. CompTIA Security+ certification, Cisco CNA certification, or Microsoft certification is preferred.
