Position Description
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Purchase items for the program. Manage financial accounts, financial reports, purchase orders, direct pay, travel, and pcard expenditures. Reconcile all expenditures and report account balances to the program director.

  • Maintains student information and facilitates the student registration process, and tracks student enrollment each semester.

  • Maintains academic and administrative program files, including data located on electronic systems.

  • Assist faculty with preparing course materials, proctoring exams, and course evaluations.

  • Provide support and guidance to faculty, staff, and students.

  • Coordinate program calendar and assist in the organization of program meetings and preparation of agenda/minutes.

  • Track and maintain property inventory for the program

  • Answer emails; answer phone calls (i.e., take messages and transfer calls); open and distribute mail.

  • Maintain the ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students and the ability to multitask with ease.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Excellent organizational and computer skills, competent in using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask, follow-up, and follow through.
