Purpose of the Position:Under the direction of the Dining Warehouse Associate Senior, this position will perform duties to include but not limited to receiving and putting away daily deliveries in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) and/or Competencies required and preferred:Required:
Knowledge of basic math skills
Ability to read and write
Ability to effectively communicate verbally to both supervisors and guests
Ability to work independently as well as follow written and oral instructions
Ability to bend, lift and push items up to 50 lbs while performing assigned tasks
Ability to work in congested work areas and areas where wet processes are used
Ability to wear protective footwear
Knowledge of safety and sanitization procedures
Ability to work flexible schedule hours, with shifts starting as early as 5 am
Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Required:
Previous customer service experience
Experience with safety and sanitization procedures
Education Preferred:
ServSafe certified
Valid driver’s license
Experience Preferred:
Previous experience in food service
Previous experience in supply and receiving industry

Salary Information:Starting at $13.38, Commensurate with Education and Experience
Conditions of Employment:This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period;
Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program;
Selected candidate must have the ability to bend, lift and push items up to 50 lbs while performing assigned tasks;
Selected candidate must have the ability to work flexible schedule hours, with shifts starting as early as 5am.
