The Advancement Systems Analyst is a primary administrator for the Advancement office systems, which houses all alumni, donor, constituent and contribution records for the University. Reporting to the AVP for Advancement, responsibilities include directing and/or designing functions, technology and data that supports Advancement Office’s operational business, best practices, initiatives, programs and special projects. This a full time, benefits-eligible position; remote work will be considered. Generous benefits include health, retirement, considerable time off and tuition assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Management; in collaboration with the AVP for Advancement, acts as a primary administrator and decision maker in the database structure and functionality; leads implementation of new structures, policies or procedures; facilitates necessary changes to current structures, policies and procedures; responsible for data security, governance and oversight for Advancement; implements University partnerships for data sharing and consistency which includes building and maintaining multi-system data bridges
  • Specialized Data; builds advanced and complex data requests for Advancement unit or external partners utilizing a strong understanding of SQL, relational data architecture and ability to surface key business needs and insights for end users; defines and develops office standards for query elements to create consistent reporting and evaluation of dataSpecialized Functions; researches, recommends, plans and implements new projects as approved by the AVP for Advancement; directs the new CRM project initiatives to meet the demands of a changing environment of philanthropy and the upcoming campaignProject Management and Data Integrity; in collaboration with the AVP for Advancement, assigns and/or leads all projects related to the Advancement CRM

    Requirements:

    Associate’s degree in related field or a combination of education, experience and accomplishmentMinimum of five years related experience; running a CRM and using/writing SQL, CSS or JavaScript
