Job Summary::

The Analytics Specialist will design and maintain data systems and databases, this includes identifying and resolving erroneous data and addressing other data related problems. Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read by others.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Salesforce/TargetX Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems and usage. Manage user accounts; design, develop and implement communications and forms. Troubleshooting and problem-solving, when necessary.
  • Provide technical expertise to manage and support CRM system and usage. Assist in making data driven decisions with CRM analytics, with the goal to improve customer relations and assist in retention efforts and to drive growth. Troubleshooting and problem solving, when necessary.
  • Develop and implement communications and forms, and support the design and development of institutional data reports.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of student and graduate surveys, including follow-up communication to encourage participation. Collect and analyze survey responses.
  • Manage the institutional data analytics dashboard. Manage user accounts, ensure data updates are completed in a timely manner, provide user training and guidance.
  • Collect and analyze data and information; perform basic statistical analysis and summarize findings through applicable reports or other communication mediums.
  • Assist with the development of forward-facing data reports, including report presentation and design to facilitate ease of understanding. This may include public-facing data reports, Leadership reports and presentations, Facts at a Glance, etc.
  • Develops, monitors, and recommends improvement to operational processes, procedures and workflow.
  • Work across the institution to manage communication strategies. Work collaboratively with the marketing team.

Minimum Qualifications::

Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are requirements. An example of this would be an associates degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.

Skill in researching, data cleaning, preparation and analyzing data and reports
Skill in creating data visualizations
Skill in compiling and preparing data files for import
Skill in creating dashboards and reports
Skill in making predictions based on data trends
Skill in making oral and written presentations
Skill in problem solving
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and or Microsoft Access
Basic math and statistical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications and Experience::

Skill in use of Salesforce, FormAssembly, Data Visualization Software (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)

Work Hours::

Core Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
