General Summary
To assist in maintaining accurate account records for all students, provide excellent customer service, and to assist the Accounts Receivable Manager as needed.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist students who have past due accounts
- Will work with traditional and non-traditional students
- Monitor and manage payment plans set up through third party
- Monitor all students verifying funds or payment types are sufficient for what they are registered for
- Review Student Accounts for refunds
- Provide back up for other positions in Business Office
- Maintain, improve and create new reports to streamline processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent preferred
- High aptitude for math
- Organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Written and Oral communication skills
- Work independently and able to handle a high volume
- Computer Skills:
- Windows: Intermediate
- Word: Intermediate
- Excel: Intermediate
- Data Base Intermediate
- Report Writing Intermediate
Experience
- Minimum one year accounting or related experience.
