Job Summary

Assist managers with writing process documentation and training materials, tutorials, surveys, websites, policies, and flow charts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists managers with drafting process documentation materials. Develops corresponding flow charts, and controls-testing documents. Organizes and manages all process documentation folders and files on a shared network.
  • Assists managers with development and updates of staff training materials.
  • Updates existing, and develops new, finance-related Workday tutorials and training materials that help University accountants and administrators with accessing financial data, running reports, and generating transactions.
  • Assists with the standardization and organization of all department on-boarding documents, including job descriptions, job requisitions, and student quality experience forms.
  • Functions as a web editor for the Financial Services department, providing public information for both employees and clientele.
  • Assists with the review and update of internal department policies, as well as finance-related University policies.
  • Develops internal and external surveys for collecting feedback on training, customer service, and analytics on products and services.

Skills

  • A proficiency with English writing skills is required.
  • General knowledge of accounting and business concepts and systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, as well as Canvas and Screencast-o-matic or other desktop video capturing tools.
  • Familiarity or experience with Brightspot or other web authoring tools is preferred.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, pays close attention to details, and forward-thinking.
  • Project management skills are helpful.
