MedicalAssistant: $16.00 - $18.00
Licensed Practical Nurse: $20.00 - $22.50

Job Summary:
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directedfollowing established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimumsupervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating thefollowing: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and assist patients, both adults and children, observe patientsvisually, and communicate verbally. Ability to stand, bend stretch,stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, walk and run with or without reasonableaccommodations

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required:
-Valid Driver License required
-Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/LicensedPractical Nurse licensure required in the state of Oklahoma
-Current CPR certification required.
-On Dec. 7, 2021, a federal judge temporarily blocked the implementation of thefederal contractor vaccination mandate and its associated guidance. Skills, Proficiencies,and Knowledge:
Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration,triage experience, direct patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required.Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.Referral/authorization experience required

Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences was founded in 1972 and is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as graduate programs in forensics, biomedicine, healthcare and athletic training.   Our core business is education; and it takes more than 500 faculty and staff members to run our institution.  Our mission is to educate and train osteopathic physicians, research scientists and other healthcare professionals with an emphasis on serving rural and underserved Oklahomans.  We offer more than 10 different specialty clinics to care for patients in the area.
