Duties and Responsibilities :Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in MIS, Information Systems and Sciences, Data Communications and Networks, Data Analytics, and Health Informatics. Contribute to the academic and service programs of the department through research, student advising and mentoring, as well as committee service at the Department, College and University levels. Strong educational credentials and evidence in teaching, research and services are desirable. This is a 9-month tenure-track position, and anticipated to start in the fall 2023 semester.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of due diligence background check and verification of credentials. Proof of US citizenship or eligibility for U.S. employment will be required prior to employment (Immigration Control Act of 1986).

Applicants must show the potential or have the experience to establish and conduct quality scholarships through grants and research, collaborate effectively with other faculty, and excel in teaching and advisement at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Must have a strong ability and commitment to embrace innovative teaching, technology application in the classroom. Effective communication skills are essential as well as the ability and commitment to educate first generation college students.
Education:Ph.D. in Information Systems, Information technology or a closely related field by the date of appointment is required. The special interest is in qualified applicants in data communication, data analytics, and health informatics and other emerging IS and IT areas.
