Duties/Responsibilities:

- Check with the office daily for daily or weekly assignments, which depend on upcoming office events.
- Responsible for checking all Continuing Education spaces daily for set up and cleanliness.
- Set-up and clean-up for all continuing education events.
- Work with office personnel in food service purchase, pick-up, set-up, and clean-up.
- Transport of equipment or participants for Continuing Education conferences.
- Organize storage space allocated to the Office of Continuing Education.
- Data entry, preparing mailers, and making copies.

Position Summary:

The Office of Continuing Education has a number of events slated for the next several months. In order to successfully manage these events, additional support is needed. This position will support the Office of Continuing Education in the following manner: room set-up, room clean up, office support such as copying, faxing, making conference disks, word-processing, managing storage space, providing A-V support in some cases, and supporting our catering operations. Without this support, it would not be possible to provide a high level of service for our upcoming workshops/conferences/meetings and produce the outcomes expected.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:

Some high school or high school graduate.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies :

Good organizational skills, work in a team and get along with others, and have basic computer skills. Physical strength to move tables, chairs and about 50 pounds of weight, detail oriented and a self-starter, be energetic, willingness to work independently at times. Keep a log and manage inventory.
