The Adjunct Instructor for Culinary Arts and Hospitality reports directly to the Chair of Business and Industrial technology. Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: coordinating activities and directing training of students; instructing students in preparing and cooking foods in a commercial kitchen; and supporting the mission of LSCPA. Performs other related work as assigned. Teaching assignment may include day and evening classes. Teaching assignments may include Dual Enrollment or Early College High School sections and correctional facilities.Minimum Qualifications:
Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field.Preferred Qualifications:
Three years culinary experience.
At least one year of leadership/supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field. Salary:
Five years culinary experience.
Two years of leadership/supervisory experience.
Knowledge of purchasing, ordering, receiving, and inventory procedures.
