Position Summary:

The Department of Communication and Media Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College seeks a part-time instructor to teach multiple sections of a combined course on media law and ethics during the upcoming academic year. A Masters degree in Communication, Media Studies, Journalism or closely-related field is required. Applicants should demonstrate potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.

The successful candidate will teach a course on media law and ethics required of all Journalism and Media Communication majors. Instruction will take place in-person at North Central’s main campus. Applicants with professional experience are especially desired.
