Full Stack .NET Developer

Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College's Office of Information Technology Services/Web Services Department is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer with at least three years of professional experience. The Full Stack .NET Developer will assist the Web Services Director in developing and maintaining custom and third-party web applications and services to support the business needs of the institution. This work includes designing, building, and implementing web applications - independently and as part of a team; maintaining and improving existing applications; providing quality assurance; and performing day-to-day related tasks.

Essential Duties Summary
• Design, develop, document, and maintain a variety of web applications and services
• Design, develop, document and maintain MSSQL databases and data integrations
• Unit Test and debug applications and services
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with existing web applications
• Meet with clients and prepare documentation of program requirements and specifications for existing and future applications
• Update web content as necessary to ensure site accuracy and currency
• Day-to-day tasks as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
• Report directly to the Web Services Director

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience with:
o C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, OOP, .NET Web API
o Front-end web technologies and frameworks: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, etc.
o Unit Testing/TDD
o MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Views, and Stored Procedures
o Angular, Ember, and/or KnockoutJS (KnockoutJS experience a plus)
• Azure DevOps experience
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Windows server management experience
• An affinity for web standards compliance
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS) framework experience a plus
