Campus Operations Coordinator

Job Description
Campus Operations Coordinators coordinate a high volume, customer service-oriented office serving the dynamic and complex needs of SLC students, faculty, staff, contractors and neighbors. Responsibilities include general office support duties: scheduling appointments, maintaining files, data entry and maintenance, answering telephones, writing and responding to correspondence, purchasing supplies, distributing mail, and maintaining an office environment that presents professionally.

Essential Duties Summary
In addition, the following responsibilities will be assigned to specific staff members by the supervisor, however all staff will be cross- trained on the following: General · Understand departmental needs in order to maintain efficient and effective service for Operations, Auxiliary Services, Facilities, and Campus Safety. · Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement solutions. · Disseminate information and work closely with maintenance, Campus Safety and third party vendors.· Follow-up and respond to concerns from parents, students, faculty and staff.· Calculate payroll for Maintenance and Campus Safety staff. · Supervise student-staff working within Campus Operations.· Use of the MS Office Suite, One Card, Jenzebar EX, and Events Management System (EMS).

Operations
  • Liaison with Residential Life, Campus Safety and Facilities to oversee key inventory, tracking, distribution and replacement.
  • Oversee transportation, campus van reservations, van driver compliance.
  • Oversee parking permit distribution and parking enforcement administration.
  • Oversee routine access control permissions and issuance of ID cards.




Accounting

  • Oversee invoice payment and budgetary compliance.
  • Manage allocation of student charges in relations to Campus Operations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal departments, local and regional contractors, and vendors.· Ensure vendor compliance with college standards and procedures.



Required Qualifications
Qualifications

  • HS diploma
  • Two or more years of support staff experience
  • Excellent administrative talent
  • Ability to cultivate close working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Detailed oriented and well organized
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms overall comfort working with and learning new technology.
  • Budget, accounting and payroll experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Excellent customer service skills
