Qualified candidates will have the potential to excel at teaching in both our undergraduate and graduate curriculum and to contribute to Dartmouth initiatives in STEM diversity, such as the Women in Science ProgramE. E. Just STEM Scholars Program, and the Academic Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (ASURE).

The Chemistry department, and Dartmouth as a whole, are highly committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of students, faculty, and staff. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to work effectively with those from all backgrounds, including, but not limited to, racial and ethnic minorities, women, individuals who identify with LGBTQ+ communities, individuals with disabilities, veterans, individuals from lower income backgrounds, and/or first-generation college students. Applicants should state in their application materials how their teaching, research, service and/or life experiences have prepared them to advance Dartmouth’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Responsibilities include research and classroom teaching for undergraduate and graduate students.

Application Instructions:

Applicants should submit all materials electronically via Interfolio:

  1. Curriculum vitae, including names and contact information for three references;

  4. Applicants for appointment as Assistant Professor: Three recommendation letters.

All inquiries and applications will be treated confidentially. Review of applications will begin on October 30th, 2022 and continue until the position is filled.
