DIRECTOR, GRADUATE BUSINESS PROGRAMS ADMISSIONSGRADUATE AND EXECUTIVE EDUCATIONRegular, Exempt, Market Range 13The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for an exempt Director of Graduate Business Programs Admissions. The Director serves as a strategic leader to design, implement, and oversee delivery of business development processes of the 4+ residential programs offered by the Graduate & Executive Education area of the Haslam College of Business. The director will have strategic and day-to-day responsibility for directing the implementation of a strategic plan for the recruitment and selection of qualified students to Graduate Business Programs; including the Full-time MBA, MAcc, MSBA, MS Supply Chain tricon, and MSHRM programs to satisfy enrollment goals.

Responsibilities:PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT
- Oversee the daily management of the Graduate Business Program admissions office and prospective student experienceDirect responsibility of developing and implementing strategic plan to meet enrollment goalsWork collaboratively with faculty and program directors to ensure that the recruiting strategies align with program offerings and needsResponsible for designing effective and efficient application processing proceduresProvide highly personalized and professional recruiting and admissions services to all applicantsLiaison to Development Office to ensure funding for all programsChair of the admissions committeeLiaison between the university and external stakeholders, specifically external business development vendors, prospective applicants, and corporate partnersDevelop yield campaign to increase matriculation rate
- Develop strategy to increase number of applications to MBA, MSBA, MAcc, MS Supply Chain and MSHRM programsPlan procedures, processes, services, and systems related to lead generation, alumni lead referral, and overall business development.Design recruitment plan to increase quality and diversity of classExecute enrollment goals while increasing quality of work experienceResponsible for interviewing applicants, reading applications and making admit decisionsTravel and represent Graduate Business Programs at recruitment fairs and other events as appropriate
- Collaborate with Marketing Department to produce effective marketing materials to increase awareness of Haslam MBA programDesign and implement social media plan that raises the visibility of the Haslam graduate programsOversight of website updates
- Supervise admissions team and provide ongoing development of staffSupervise, train, and coach three staff members, monitor their performance, provide work direction, guidance, and consultation, define work standards and expectations, conduct performance evaluations, address concerns, monitor schedules and sign time-sheets, host team staff retreats
- Oversee management and appropriate expenditures of funds for all admissions related events, services, and operations Responsible for implementation of financial aid awarding strategiesManage financial aid budget including named fellowshipsOversee GTA assignment, allocations, and communications
