Qualifications:

  • A relevant doctorate degree is preferred. A master’s degree in a field such as business administration or business analytics is required. Several years of experience in a role focused on business analytics and/or operations management is desired. Experience teaching students with diverse math backgrounds is preferred. Certifications in areas such as Microsoft Excel, project management, Tableau, Python, and Lean Six Sigma, along with other relevant certifications, are desired.

Experience teaching university courses strongly preferred. The candidate is expected to provide evidence of the capacity to develop courses and curriculum, teach effectively, and mentor students. Candidates with a strong global network are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Base teaching requirement is 24 (and optionally up to 30) semester credit hours per year over three semesters in areas/courses that emphasize quantitative skills to solve business problems such as business math, business analytics and operations, project management, big data and advanced analytics, and Lean Six Sigma. The candidate may teach additional courses within the Business Management program, depending on the candidate’s skill set and experience. We seek candidates who are willing to be flexible with teaching assignments.

  • Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required.
