Description:

Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite applications for an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Anthropology position in the Department of Anthropology at Hofstra University.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Anthropology.
  • Typically teach one to two courses per semester.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in an educational environment.

Preferred Quals Summary:

  • Experience teaching introductory Cultural Anthropology courses
  • Demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
